The Scrollsaw Association of the World (SAW) is a great starting place for anyone with a passion for scrollsawing and fretwork.  There are also useful links and FREE plans.

Master Craftsman Norm Abram has had a huge influence on woodworkers around the world and is apparently seen by many as the most popular carpenter since Jesus!!

Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazine is an excellent read and usually comes with a dozen or so free scrollsaw patterns.

Scrollsaw Workshop magazine is another great read and like CW&C magazine, it's full of great articles, projects and free plans.

Rick's Woodshop Creations is stacked with all sorts of plans, magazine links and generally full of information. If you only ever go to ONE plans site, make it this one.

Volker Arnold's web site has some of the most attractive tree hangers that I've seen for a long time. Volker's work is typically German and most plans are downloadable as Acrobat PDFs.

The legendary Dirk Boelman's web site contains a wide variety of scroll saw patterns and supplies that you need to complete your projects.

The Berry Basket has hundreds of downloadable scroll saw patterns, patterns on CDs, scrollsaw blades and hard to find scroll saw accessories

The Winfield Collection's full-sized patterns are widely recognized for their ease of use, the originality of the designs and clear instructions. They are also a lot of FUN to make.

Wildwood Designs is a great one-stop-shop for scroll saw patterns and supplies which includes blades, clock parts, books, plywood, hardware and tools. They also have internet 'specials'.

Finally, a plug for one of my other web sites.

When I'm not in the workshop I like to head out with my digital camera.  I've been taking pictures for over 30 years and still get a buzz from it.
